A Free Template to Help You Save Time and Money in Your Solo Business
I do this audit every December, and it always saves me time and money.
I love taking the last 2 weeks of the year off — but that doesn’t mean I’m doing nothing; I just do the things I want to do, when I feel like doing thing.
That usually means 2 things:
- My goals for the year. I like to take a couple of hours and do some whiteboard planning.
- Auditing my time and tools to see where I can improve my processes, cut costs, and plug up holes in my business.
The audit is something I do every year, but I never had a documented system for doing it…until now.
Today I’m officially launching my Time and Tools Audit Template.
It’s a proven framework to audit your software subscriptions, cut unnecessary costs, eliminate redundant apps, and finally reclaim time for your high-revenue tasks.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Assess Your Apps
You’ll make a list of all of the apps, services, and subscriptions you have, and work through the framework to determine what you actually use, and what you should get rid of.
Step 2: Assess Your Time
Follow the framework to determine how you’re spending your time, what tasks are most fruitful for you, and which you should stop doing.
Step 3: Implement Your Plan
After you assess your apps and your time, you’ll walk through 8 tasks and implement a plan to save money and spend your time wisely.
And the best part? It’s totally free. You can get it here:
I can’t wait to see what you learn from the audit.
And this is the first version of it, so I’m totally open to feedback.
Comment and let me know what you think!
